2.8.3 (515) – Vanemar Gateway Firmware Version Release Notes

Vanemar Gateway firmware v2.8.3 expands NMEA 2000 alert integration, allowing alarms and warnings generated on the NMEA 2000 network to be monitored through the Vanemar system, while also improving NMEA 2000 Adapter connectivity and data reliability.

✨ New Features

  • NMEA 2000 Network Alarm & Warning Integration

    Systems equipped with a Vanemar NMEA 2000 Adapter can now receive alarms and warnings generated by compatible devices on the NMEA 2000 network and display them through the Vanemar system.

    This extends onboard alerts beyond the vessel, helping you stay informed about important events on your NMEA 2000 network even when you are away from your boat.

⚙️ Improvements

  • Improved detection of NMEA 2000 data that is no longer being received, allowing outdated data to be identified and marked as unavailable more quickly.

  • Various improvements have been made to enhance the overall performance, stability, and reliability of the Vanemar NMEA 2000 Adapter.

🔧 Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue that could cause the NMEA 2000 Adapter to repeatedly disconnect and reconnect after setup in certain cases.

  • Fixed a rare issue that could prevent the NMEA 2000 Adapter from reconnecting automatically after losing its connection.
