Overview
The Power/Reset button on the back of your Vanemar Gateway allows you to turn the device on, turn it off, or restore its factory settings.
Each function is activated by holding the button for a specific duration.
Turning On Your Vanemar Gateway
Locate the Power/Reset button on the back of your Gateway.
Press and hold the button for approximately 10 seconds, until the LED turns red.
Release the button. The device will begin starting up, and the LED will change color to indicate its status.
Warning: Release the button when the LED turns red. Holding it longer may trigger a factory reset.
Note: If your Gateway doesn't turn on, its internal backup battery may be depleted. Connect it to a power source and try again.
Turning Off Your Vanemar Gateway
Press and hold the Power/Reset button for approximately 10 seconds, until the LED turns red.
Release the button when the red LED appears.
The LED will turn off as the Gateway shuts down.
Note: Turning off your Gateway stops monitoring until the device is turned back on.
Resetting Your Vanemar Gateway to Factory Settings
Make sure your Gateway is turned on.
Press and hold the Power/Reset button. The LED will turn red.
Keep holding the button until the LED starts flashing green (approximately 20 seconds in total).
Release the button when the LED starts flashing green. Your Gateway has been reset and is ready to pair.
Warning: A factory reset may remove your Gateway's local settings and pairing information, requiring you to pair your Gateway and connected sensors again.
Only perform a factory reset when necessary or when instructed by Vanemar Support.
