Before You Begin
Before installing your Vanemar Gateway, take a few moments to prepare your boat and ensure a safe working environment.
Secure Your Boat
Make sure your boat is stationary and securely moored before starting the installation.
Turn Off Electrical Systems
Turn off all engines, power sources, battery chargers, and inverters. Disconnect your boat from shore power to reduce the risk of electrical hazards.
Prepare Your Work Area
Choose a clean, well-ventilated area with enough space to work safely.
Check Weather Conditions
Avoid installing your Gateway during bad weather or unsafe conditions.
Important: If you are unfamiliar with marine electrical systems, we recommend having a qualified marine electrician perform the electrical installation. Incorrect wiring can cause serious safety risks.
