Changing the Battery of Vanemar Motion Sensor

Learn how to replace the battery in your Vanemar Motion Sensor safely and efficiently.

When to Replace the Battery

  • When you receive a low battery alert in the Vanemar App.

Battery Type

  • 1 × CR2 battery

Warning: Do not use damaged or leaking batteries. They may damage the device.

Step-by-Step Battery Replacement

  1. Insert the included reset tool into the disassembly hole and press to release the bottom cover.

  2. Remove the bottom cover from the sensor body.

  3. Remove the old battery.

  4. Insert a new CR2 battery, matching the positive (+) and negative (−) ends to the markings in the battery compartment.

  5. Reattach the bottom cover securely.

  6. Move within the sensor’s detection area and check that motion is reported in the Vanemar App.
