When to Replace the Battery of Vanemar Motion Sensor

  • When the Vanemar App sends a low battery notification.

  • If the LED no longer lights or the sensor doesn’t detect motion.

  • Typically every 2–3 years, depending on usage.

Battery Type

  • 1 × CR123A or CR17335 lithium battery (3V, non-rechargeable)

⚠️ Warning: Do not use damaged or leaking batteries.

Step-by-Step Battery Replacement

  1. Remove the Motion Sensor from its mounting bracket.

  2. Open the battery compartment at the back.

  3. Remove the old battery.

  4. Insert a new CR123A or CR17335 battery, matching polarity.

  5. Close the compartment securely.

  6. Re-attach the sensor to the mounting bracket.

  7. Test by moving within its detection range and checking the Vanemar App.
