Safety and Preparation

  • Secure the boat at dock before starting installation.

  • Work in a well-ventilated, clutter-free environment.

  • Ensure the mounting surface is clean and dry.

Choosing the Best Location

  • Install indoors, on a stable flat surface.

  • Place at 2–2.5 meters height for optimal coverage.

  • Ensure the sensor has a clear view of intruder paths.

  • Avoid pointing at windows, fans, or moving objects.

Fixing in Place

  1. Remove the mounting bracket from the sensor.

  2. Peel off the adhesive tape backing.

  3. Press the bracket firmly onto the prepared surface.

  4. Re-attach the sensor to the bracket until secure.

Installation Precautions

⚠️ Warning: The Vanemar Motion Sensor is designed for indoor use only.

  • Install the sensor on a stable surface to avoid misalignment.

  • Position the sensor so its field of view clearly covers potential intruder paths.

  • Avoid placing it where animals, fans, or moving objects may trigger false alarms.

  • Do not install in areas with rapid temperature changes caused by heaters, air conditioners, or direct sunlight.

  • Keep away from strong heat sources and metallic objects that may interfere with wireless communication.

  • Position at an angle facing the cabin entrance for maximum coverage.

  • Test the detection by walking through the monitored area after installation.

  • Check the Vanemar App after installation to confirm detection events.

  • For larger areas, consider using multiple Motion Sensors.
