Pairing / Unpairing Vanemar Smart Plug

Pairing integrates your Smart Plug with the Vanemar App and Gateway for remote control, power-loss alerts, and ZigBee coverage extension.

Before You Start

  • Ensure the outlet has power.

  • Plug the Smart Plug into a dry, indoor outlet.

  • Make sure the Vanemar Gateway is powered on and connected.

  • Open the Vanemar App on your smartphone.

Pairing Vanemar Smart Plug Step-by-Step

  1. Open the Vanemar App → Go to Devices → Tap “+ Add Device”.

  2. On the Smart Plug, press and hold the Power/Networking button until the LED starts flashing:

    • AU version: Blue or purple flashing = pairing mode.

    • US version: Rapid blue flashing = pairing mode.

3. Follow the in-app instructions to complete pairing.

Verify success:

  • AU version → Solid Red = ON and paired.

  • US version → Solid Blue = ON.

Unpairing the Vanemar Smart Plug

  1. Ensure the plug is powered.

  2. Press and hold the Power/Networking button until the LED indicates unpairing:

    • AU version: LED flashes blue or purple, then release.

    • US version: LED flashes slowly.

3. Remove the device from the Vanemar App if still listed.

Tips for Successful Pairing

  • Place the Smart Plug within range of the Gateway (≤100 m open area).

  • Avoid damp, humid environments during setup.

  • Use Smart Plugs strategically to extend ZigBee coverage across your boat.
