Pairing Vanemar Water Sensor

Learn how to pair a Vanemar Water Sensor with your system, ensuring accurate high water level detection for boat safety.

Overview

Pairing your Vanemar Water Sensor with the Vanemar Gateway lets you receive water detection alerts in the Vanemar App. Pairing is required to connect the sensor to your Vanemar system.

Before You Start

  • Ensure the sensor’s battery is installed.

  • Open the Vanemar App on your mobile device.

Pairing Steps

The Devices screen in the Vanemar App with the “+” button highlighted to begin adding a Vanemar Water Sensor.

  1. Tap “+” or “Add device” in the Devices menu and follow the on-screen instructions.

  2. Press and hold the networking button for 5 seconds. When the green LED starts flashing rapidly, the device is ready to pair.

  3. Once pairing is complete, the LED will remain solid green for 3 seconds before turning off.

To unpair the sensor: Press and hold the networking button for 5 seconds. The green LED will flash slowly to indicate that the sensor is no longer paired.

Warning: Water may enter the sensor if it remains submerged for an extended period or if the cover is not properly closed. Follow the instructions below to ensure the cover is correctly and fully closed.
