Pairing Vanemar Entry Sensor

Step-by-step guide to pair your Vanemar Entry Sensor with the Vanemar Gateway using the Vanemar App.

Overview

Pairing your Vanemar Entry Sensor with the Vanemar Gateway lets you monitor whether a door, window, or drawer is open or closed in the Vanemar App. Pairing is required to connect the sensor to your Vanemar system.

Before You Start

  • Ensure the battery insulation pull tab is removed before pairing.

  • Open the Vanemar App.

    Removing the battery insulation pull tab from the Vanemar Entry Sensor and selecting “+” on the Devices screen in the Vanemar App to begin pairing.

Pairing Steps

  1. Tap '+' or 'Add device' in the Devices menu and follow the on-screen instructions.

  2. Press and hold the networking button with the included reset tool until the green LED starts flashing rapidly. The device is now ready to pair.

  3. Once successfully paired, the LED will remain solid green for 3 seconds before turning off.
